Practice
Microdosing
The practice of consuming sub-perceptual amounts of a psychedelic substance, typically 1/10th to 1/20th of a full dose, on a regular schedule.
Commonly practiced with psilocybin or LSD, often following protocols like the Fadiman protocol (one day on, two days off) or the Stamets Stack (combining psilocybin with lion's mane and niacin). Research on its effects is still emerging, with some studies suggesting mood and focus benefits while others find results comparable to placebo. The practice has gained significant popular interest, though scientific consensus on its efficacy remains incomplete.
